Where do I get a claim number?

Claim numbers are issued by your insurance company at the time you report your accident. Just jot it down and bring it with you when you come in to begin the repair process. We will do the rest.

Will the parts be ordered before I drop off my car for repair?

Absolutely. We generally order your vehicle’s parts at the time your repair appointment is made. Pre-ordering parts enables us to provide a quicker turn around time for our customers.

If my vehicle’s frame is damaged is the car a total loss?

Not necessarily. Most cars are now built using unibody (frame and body as one) construction. Our highly skilled technicians, with the aid of our computer measuring system can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. If it is determined that a section of the frame is bent beyond repair, that section can simply be replaced.

Can I get other work done on my car while it is in the body shop?

Yes, just let us know what other work you would like done so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

How long will the repairs take?

It is different for every repair. Parts, insurance and supplement delays can affect the actual delivery date of your vehicle. We can give you an estimated delivery date for your vehicle once we have estimated the repairs.

Can I get a ride home when I drop off my car?

Yes, we are happy to provide this service to you. Just let us know when you make your repair appointment that you will be needing a ride home, and we will take care of the rest.

How can I get a rental car?

If you need a rental car, we can arrange that for you. Insurance companies will only pay for a rental car if you have that option on your policy of if you are the claimant. Your insurance agent can verify if you have rental coverage and what the limits are.

How will I know when my car is done?

We will contact you when your vehicle is cleaned, inspected and ready to be picked up.

Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?

Yes. All of our repairs are guaranteed with a Nationwide Limited Lifetime Warranty

Do I have to pay a deductible?

Your insurance company will determine who is at fault and if you are responsible for paying a deductible. Your deductible amount was determined at the time you purchased your insurance policy. Please contact your insurance company for your policy details.

Who do I pay my deductible to?

You will pay your deductible to Rosemont Auto Body when the repairs are completed and the vehicle is picked up.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Insurance checks, personal checks (up to $500.00 only), cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express.

For Fleet Vehicles we also accept Wright Express, Voyager and Fleet One.

Can I have my car repaired wherever I want?

Yes, you can choose any repair shop for your vehicle repairs. Your insurance company cannot demand that you use a specific body shop. It is your vehicle and your right to choose the repair facility of your choice.

Who should I use to tow my vehicle?

It is your choice on who you use to tow your vehicle. Contact us and we will be happy to assist you in getting your vehicle towed.

Can I use Rosemont Auto Body if you are not on my insurance company’s list of preferred providers?

Yes, you can use the shop of your choice. We can, and do work with all major insurance companies.

Will Rosemont Auto Body process my insurance claim for me?

Once you have reported the claim to your insurance company, Rosemont Auto Body will work directly with your insurance company on your behalf.

Do I need to make an appointment for my estimate?

It is not necessary to make an appointment for an estimate.

What kind of parts are going to be used on my vehicle?

Several different types of parts can be used on your vehicle. These are:

  • • OEM: New parts direct from the manufacturer of your vehicle
  • • Reconditioned/Remanufactured: A part, damaged in a previous collision that has been refurbished for use.
  • • Aftermarket: Non-OEM manufactured part
  • • LKQ/Recycled: Used parts from salvage vehicles
  • Please contact your insurance company to determine what type of parts YOUR insurance company will pay for in the event you need auto body repair.
